NORTHERN Soul and Motown hits will be played as part of a marathon charity fundraiser in Old Hill this weekend.
There will be 13 hours of some of the best tunes of the sixties being played by the collection of DJs at Spring Meadow Social Club on Sunday, May 28, all in aid of Dementia UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Running from 11am until midnight, 13 DJs – who have all given up there time for free – will be keeping the crowds entertained, while food will be available to buy throughout the event and the bar will also remain open.
Among the baker’s dozen of vinyl spinners will be Tigga, Kenny Lee, Pep, Kit, Dave Henderson, Dave Lloyd, Tim Pearman, Derek Smith, Ade Shaw, Steve Cooper, Neil Foley, Allan Day, Chevy.
Entry costs £3 on the door, and a large free car park is also available to visitors.
