THE annual Vintage Transport and Country Fair will roll into Himley Hall and Park next month.

In a big to make it the biggest one yet, organisers are calling on more vintage vehicle owners to join the 80 exhibitors already booked in to display their pride and joys at this year’s event on June 4.

Steam engines, fairground organs, tractors, classic cars, vintage motorbikes, cycles and fire engines will all be on display from 10am to 4pm.

As well as getting up close to the lovingly restored vehicles, visitors will have the opportunity to chat to owners about their exhibits.

There will also be arts and crafts stalls, street food, vintage stalls, hand-crafted collectibles, a children’s funfair, a Punch and Judy show and live music at the free event.

Stuart Connelly, head of service for visitor economy and culture at Dudley Council, said: “Each year this event attracts thousands of people who enjoy a fantastic day out in a great location.

“We find that it’s not just the visitors who have a good time, but that the exhibitors also have a great experience talking to people about their vintage vehicles and swapping tips with each other.”
