A MAN and two children had a miraculous escape after their car careered off a flyover in Quinton late last night (Saturday, June 17).
West Midlands Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene at the Quinton Expressway and Hagley Road West around 11pm.
They sent an ambulance, the Hazardous Area Response Team and a paramedic officer, who discovered the man and the two youngsters.

The children were then taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital by ambulance while the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

This morning (Sunday) the ambulance service tweeted: “Considering the drop, it is astonishing that the occupants weren't more seriously hurt.”

The road was closed off fr a number of hours overnight while the incident was cleared.
