There will be a Punch and Judy show at this year's event
PREPARATIONS are under way for this year’s Upper Gornal Fun Day.
The free event will take place on July 8 at the Vale Street recreation ground - known locally as The Quarry.
There will be plenty going on for families to enjoy, including a bouncy castle and fair rides, birds of prey, a Viking re-enactment group, Punch and Judy show, vintage cars, stalls and live entertainment.
Youngsters will also get to meet the stars of Paw Patrol at the event, which will run from 12noon to 4pm.
