BRIERLEY Hill murder suspect Niron Parker-Lee remains on the run and a £6,000 reward awaits anyone with information on his whereabouts.

Mansoor Mahmood died after being stabbed in the stomach during an altercation outside Dixi Chicken takeaway on High Street, Brierley Hill, shortly before 5pm on October 15 last year.

Eight months on, the 24-year-old's family are still desperate for answers and have teamed up with Crimestoppers to triple the original reward, from £2,000 to up to £6,000, for information that leads to 19-year-old Parker-Lee's arrest.

Pauline Hadley, Crimestoppers’ regional manager for the West Midlands, said: “Mr Mahmood’s wife and family are desperate for answers and they deserve to see justice.

"This poor young man died after being senselessly attacked with a knife on a busy street in Brierley Hill.

"Niron Parker-Lee must be found as he is wanted for questioning regarding this crime.

"Someone somewhere will know where he is and they can contact our charity’s UK contact centre on the phone or online whilst remaining 100 per cent anonymous.”

Members of the public have been urged not to approach Parker-Lee, who is described as dangerous.

Instead, anyone with information should fill in an anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or call 0800 555 111.
