KIND Blackheath supermarket staff helped raise more than £8,000 for a children’s charity.
Sainsbury’s Blackheath collected the impressive amount for their charity of the year Promise Dreams and presented a cheque for £8,538.24 to Daniel Smith from the charity.
Mr Smith said “It has been a great year for the charity who make dreams come true for seriously ill and terminally ill children and their families, last year being the 1st time we have worked with a Sainsbury’s store we have learnt a lot and have enjoyed the partnership very much.
“This money along with the money for the bag for life sales will make a tremendous difference to a lot of children and their families. The store are now looking forward to a new partnership and another year’s worth of fund raising.”
