FAMILIES can run, jump and splash their way through the school holidays thanks to a packed programme of activities at borough leisure centres.

Leisure centres in Dudley, Halesowen and Stourbridge all have a range of fun activities for children this half term.

A water disco will take place at Crystal Leisure Centre on October 27 from 3.30pm to 6pm alongside the normal pool sessions.

There is also soft play and crèche facilities and courts for badminton, squash and table-tennis available throughout the week.

In Halesowen, an inflatable aqua run session for children aged eight and above will take place on October 24 and 26, from 1.15pm to 3pm.

There are also ‘fun floats’ sessions on October 23, 24, 26 and 27.

People can take advantage of a £7 for seven day offer which includes unlimited swimming, fun pool sessions, squash and table-tennis.

Youngsters aged eight to 12 can join a full day of activities which includes multi-skills, football, rounders, basketball and badminton at Dudley Leisure Centre.

They run on October 24 and 26, from 9am to 4pm and cost £20 per day.

There’s also public swimming and courts available for badminton and squash.

Councillor Ian Kettle, Dudley's cabinet member responsible for sport and leisure, said: “There are lots of activities at our leisure centres over the half term holidays. I’d urge people to look at the website or call the centres to find out more.”

A 50 per cent discount is available on selected activities to Options+ Leisure Discount holders.
