HEAVY overnight snow has blanketed the region with around four inches causing travel problems on road and rail.
Drivers have been advised to stay at home as the snow continues to fall and train services have been hit.
Chiltern Railways is running a reduced service to London with delays of around an hour.
Busses are also affected, all services have been suspended.
