A DRINK driver who was almost four times over the legal limit has been banned from the roads for 32 months.

Rachel Dorrell, aged 47, of Kinver Street, Wordsley, had 137mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath when she was caught behind the wheel in Wordsley, on February 22.

When tested, she had 137mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.

She was given a 12 month community order and must pay a £160 fine, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Zoe Hipkiss, aged 27, of Merryfield Road, Dudley, was fined £250 for drink driving in Pensnett on February 22. When tested, she had 75mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 20 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

George Lee Crump, aged 20, of Delph Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £200 for throwing clappers and coins during a football match at The Hawthorns on February 24. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Chris Smith, aged 36, of Hannover Road, Rowley Regis, was given a six month community order for drink driving in Oldbury on February 20. When tested, he had 101mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for possessing cocaine. He was given a 16 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8.30pm and 6am. Smith was disqualified from driving for two years and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Imran Ahmed Afzal, aged 36, of Quinton Lane, Quinton, was fined £180 for being in charge of a motor vehicle while over the limit on December 15, 2017. When tested, he had 56mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was given 10 penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Natasha Anne Marie Griffin, aged 39, of Sheriff Drive, Brierley Hill, was given a six month community order for assaulting three people in Netherton on October 16, 2017. She was given a 15 week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 9pm and 6am. She must pay compensation of £500.

James Andrew Clarke, aged 36, of Oldacre Road, Oldbury, was given a 12 month community order for causing £600 worth of damage to two cars in Oldbury on February 27 and assaulting a woman. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £600.

Julie Ellis, aged 46, of Gibbs Road, Lye, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £49.52, from Aldi, Netherton, on March 1. She must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £50 court costs.

Shane Alexander Whyte, aged 38, of Stewart Crescent, Kates Hill, was sent to prison for six weeks for breaching a restraining order in Brierley Hill on March 13. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Abaas Ali, aged 30, of Highfield Road, Dudley, was fined £190 for driving when the proportion of cannabis in his blood exceeded the specified limit. He was also sentenced for driving when the two front tyres were below the minimum tread depth and causing the vehicle, or part of it, to stop in a zebra controlled area in Oldbury on November 3, 2017. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Nathan Simpson-Etheridge, aged 32, of Exeter Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for possessing cannabis in Brierley Hill on January 19. He was also sentenced for threatening to damage a door in Dudley on February 6 and possessing cannabis in Dudley on February 7. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Matthew John Marsh, aged 33, of Gordon Crescent, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 18 weeks for stealing alcohol, worth £38, from Asda, Brierley Hill, on March 14. He was also sentenced for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause someone to believe that violence would be used against them. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Michaela Rimell, aged 38, of Charles Avenue, Rowley Regis, was fined £200 for drink driving in Rowley Regis on February 28. When tested, she had 73mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 20 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Jason Alan Kinsey, aged 33, of Hallchurch Road, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months, for driving while disqualified in Dudley on February 11. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance, taking the vehicle without the consent of the owner and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. He was disqualified from driving for four years and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs. He was also given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 6am.

Adam Michael Smith, aged 44, of Stourbridge Road, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for stealing meat, worth £127.90, from Aldi, Brierley Hill, on January 21 and 22 and assaulting a man in Brierley Hill on January 22. He was fined £50 and must pay compensation of £102.95, £85 victim surcharge and £200 court costs.
