YOUNGSTERS from Sedgley helped the town to celebrate its renewal of Fairtrade status.
The Sedgley Fairtrade Initiative launched a colouring competition which was won by Kendall Rose Palaporthy and Archie Steven Tong.
The winners were announced at Humbugs Coffee and Craft Shop in Sedgley's Penny Farthing Arcade on Saturday March 10.
The budding artists were handed their awards by Councillor Tina Westwood and the pair won family tickets to the Dudley Canal Trust and Easter eggs from event sponsors the Midcounties Co-op.
Sedgley first won Fairtrade status three years ago after seven years work from the Sedgley Fairtrade Initiative. The renewal will see this status extended for a further two years.
The children presented the Fairtrade certificate to committee members Edna Chapple, Elaine Melhuish and Clunis Chesworth.
