AN intrepid walker is stepping out to raise money for a leading cancer charity with a gruelling 100 mile trek from his home in Dudley to Aberystwyth.
Michael Kenyon and his friend Josh Price, from Halesowen, are gearing up for their first long-distance charity walk .
The 23-year-olds were spurred on to do the sponsored event after a friend was diagnosed with the disease and hope to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Mr Kenyon said: “I'm walking to Aberystwyth in Wales for Cancer Research UK because they carry out amazing work.”
The pair plan to take three days to complete the walk, carrying their own gear and camping at night.
