SOLICITORS Thursfields, which has offices in Kidderminster and Stourport, has been praised in a leading publication for the legal profession.

Thursfields was described as “excellent’ in the latest edition of the Legal 500, with two of its partners receiving personal recognition.

Published for over 20 years, the Legal 500 Series provides comprehensive nationwide coverage on legal services providers.

Each year law firms are invited to provide information on their specialist areas of practice and specific details of work undertaken. Using that information interviews are then conducted with more than 250,000 clients, asking for feedback on the lawyers they instruct.

The information is then used to benchmark legal services providers.

It is the 13th consecutive year Thursfields, which also has an office in Worcester, has appeared in the publication.

Mark Pittaway, partner, specialising in commercial litigation, was described by clients as “knowledgeable” and as a lawyer who “genuinely seems to care”.

The family team, led by partner Nigel Davies, who was described as “consistently good”, has kept its Tier 2 ranking.

Managing partner Nick O’Hara said: “As a firm we are delighted with this year’s results. We have continued to retain our prestigious ranking positions and being described as excellent is real recognition of the service we provide.”
