ACCOUNTANCY firm Bishop Fleming, which has an office in Worcester, has appointed an additional VAT specialist.
David Gage joins Bishop Fleming as a VAT consultant to support the firm's director of VAT, Wendy Andrews, in serving clients of all the firm's offices in Worcester, Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay and Truro.
With an honours degree in business management and an MA in European business, Mr Gage joins Bishop Fleming from VAT consultants, Landmark PT. His home is in Bradford-on-Avon and he will be based in the firm's Bath office.
Andrew Browne, head of Bishop Fleming's tax operations, said: "David Gage has strong experience in advising charities and property clients on VAT issues, which matches with Bishop Fleming's sector strengths."
He added the firm would announce another VAT specialist recruit in the new year.
