A NUMBER of jobs have been created after a training and recruitment firm opened a new centre in Redditch.
Nova Training, which delivers apprenticeship programmes to adults and young people, has moved into a former warehouse on Clive Road near Enfield.
The new centre includes classrooms with IT and plasma screen TVs as well as a motor vehicle workshop.
Director David Bucknall said the move would create 10 to 12 new jobs in addition to an existing workforce of 150 across the West Midlands.
He said: “We have already recruited five staff. Additional staff will be taken on as the provision develops.
“Building works have been completed, staff have been working in the local community and we are in the process of welcoming our first learners.”
Ben Truslove, from property agents John Truslove, which helped with the move, said: “Their expansion is another boost for Redditch – every job created is so important given on-going unemployment figures.”
