A STOURBRIDGE bank branch is holding a market day event to allow entrepreneurs to promote their businesses to prospective new customers.

Barclays, in High Street, is holding the initiative on Monday (October 5), between 10am and 3pm, to recognise the contribution its customers make to the local economy.

Businesses attending the event include Harry Crow, of Harry’s Mobile Car Valeting, Happy Tails Belbroughton Ltd and Total Electronics & Computing.

April Townley, Barclays’ business manager, said: “This business to business event is an ideal way in which we can help and support our customers and I’m delighted that we have received lots of interest from customers who are keen to take part in the day.

“Small businesses make a significant contribution to the regional economy and to other businesses.

“It’s great to have the opportunity to contribute to their marketing activity and we’re looking forward to a productive day.”
