A PENSIONER was treated for minor smoke inhalation after being rescued from her Norton home after a kitchen blaze.
Firefighters from Stourbridge, Brierley Hill and Dudley were called to the incident, on Shenstone Avenue, at 11.12am on October 29 after an automatic fire alarm was triggered.
Firefighters forced an entry into the terraced house and found a woman in her 80s collapsed on the kitchen floor and a small fire in a saucepan. The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics.
