A MAN was taken to hospital in a critical condition after a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Kingswinford.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called the junction of Lawnswood Road and the A449 near Doctors Lane in Kingswinford shortly after 7.25pm last night (Wednesday November 14).
The biker, a 39-year-old from Kidderminster, sustained serious injuries and remains in a critical condition.
The car driver, a male aged 18 from Kingswinford, was not injured
Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and a paramedic area support officer were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a motorcyclist on the floor.
“The motorcyclist, a man, was found to be in cardiac arrest. Ambulance crews immediately carried out resuscitation at the scene and the man was conveyed to Russell Hall Hospital.”
The incident involved a white motorcycle and a blue Peugeot 106, the road was closed for around three hours while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
