THE Brierley Hill Society of Artists have launched their annual exhibition at Wordsley’s Red House Glass Cone.
Country and local scenes, portraits, still life and life drawings depicted in watercolour, oil, pastels and acrylics feature in this year’s display which runs at the Camp Hill tourist attraction until April 7.
Locally-themed pieces include a ‘View over Kinver’, ‘Stourbridge in Rain’ and ‘Canal boats.’ All work is for sale, with pieces available as prints or framed from £20 upwards.
Councillor Tracy Wood, Dudley’s cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “The Brierley Hill Society of Artists are regular exhibitors at the cone, offering local people a chance to view their pieces and to see local scenes captured in their work.
“The pieces are reasonably priced and the exhibition is a great opportunity to purchase a unique piece of locally produced artwork.”
The cone is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free.
