A DUDLEY man is offering grieving families a unique service after opening a grave tending business.
Mark Room has just started his unusual business, offering to help elderly and disabled mourners who cannot make it to the cemetary themselves to remember their loved one.
The 38-year-old's unique service includes a light clean of the stone or memorial, grass clipped, any wind-blown debris removed and a bunch of fresh flowers complete with a personal message.
Mark opted for the bizarre job after tending the grave of a loved one and says the business is open to mourners across the Black Country.
Different' He said: "I was a salesman for a long, long time and decided to do something completely and utterly different.
"I came to the conclusion that hundreds of people would need the service.
"I was looking at doing something that nobody else was doing, finding a niche in the market.
"To my knowledge this service is the only one of its kind in the area. However, in other parts of the country there are a few services on offer that are proving to be very popular.
"There are only three certainties in life afterall, births, deaths and the taxman."
To book Mark's service, at a cost of £19.99 for a standard package, call him on 07815 462275 or go to www.rememberingyougravecare.zoomshare.com or email rememberingyou@blueyonder.co.uk.
