PRIZED pieces of pressed glass will be on display at the Broadfield House Museum in Kingswinford this month.
Platters, cake stands, dishes, jelly moulds, glasses, bowls and plates from the private collection of Stourbridge based Peter Holland have been made available for all to see starting from July 9.
It forms part of the museum’s ongoing Collectomania, where collecters loan pieces for a dedicated display.
Peter Holland’s fascination with glass started following his retirement, when these overlooked pieces were readily available and affordable in both second hand and charity shops.
Broadfield House Glass Museum, in Compton Drive, is open from Tuesday to Sunday from noon until 4pm.
Admission is free.
