AMBLECOTE supermarket staff went back to school to raise money for a local hospice.
Sainsbury’s employees paid £1 to wear school uniforms on Friday August 16 and reminisced about their younger days for the ‘Back to School’ event, which raised £222.13 for the Mary Steven’s Hospice, Oldswinford.
Store manager, Kevin Healy, who played the role of headmaster on the day, said: "It was a great deal of fun and certainly put a smile on the face of our customers, whom I would like to thank for helping us raise much needed funds for our charity partner, Mary Steven's Hospice.”
