FIVE people have been taken to hospital following two separate car accidents in Kingswinford this afternoon (Friday).
Firefighters had to remove the roof of a vehicle to free an elderly driver after a two car smash in Bromley Lane at 1.30pm.
The female driver was taken to Russells Hall Hospital with minor injuries along with her passenger, believed to be a woman in her 70s and the two people travelling in the other car.
Less than two hours later, a 13-year-old girl was hit by a car on Moss Grove, near Tesco Express.
Paramedics arrived on the scene just after 3pm and took her to hospital as she was experiencing leg pain.
