MEMBERS of the public are being asked to help identify a man after a female passenger was assaulted on a Birmingham to Stourbridge train.
Officers have today (Thursday January 16) released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident, which saw a male passenger approach two women on board the train and attempt to engage them in conversation before assaulting one of them.

She added: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward. I would also ask anyone who knows the identity of the man in this photograph to contact BTP, as I believe he will have key information which can assist the investigation.”
Anyone with information is urged to call British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Incident reference B4 of 16/01/14 should be quoted in all calls.
