A RESCUE dog that went missing in Clent has been found dead in a neighbours garden.
Miony, a 11-year old lurcher, ran off from the Walton Pool area with her Alsatian companion Mika, at around 9am on Wednesday January 8.
Owner, Elaine Noble, had offered a reward to anyone that could reunite her with her beloved pet but sadly, Miony's body was discovered on Sunday.
Her sister, Cordelia Noble, said: “She was found just round the corner from where she had gone missing, in someone’s garden. They had gone away on holiday for two weeks and she had been there for some time.
“Sadly we do not know why she died. She may have been hit by a car, but there was no obvious signs, we just do not know.”
