A STOURBRIDGE charity shop is urging people to have a clear out and donate any unwanted clothes, shoes, accessories, books or gifts.

The Stourbridge and District branch of Cats Protection needs to stock up the Lower High Street shop so it can continue to give local cats a brighter future.

Deborah Cox, the charity's publicity volunteer, said: “We would appreciate any donations of unwanted goods that we can sell, to raise much needed funds to help local cats in need.

“There is also a need for knitted and unwanted blankets that could be used for cats in our local foster homes.”

The charity also needs volunteers to help run the shop.

Anyone who would like to lend a hand should call 01384 422208.
