The following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between February 24-28:

Jenny Valerie Southall, aged 30, of Stepping Stones, Stourbridge, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing earphones, worth £79.99, from TK Maxx, Merry Hill, on February 7. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Reece Wayne Allen, aged 19, of Summerfield Road, Netherton, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for driving without a licence, insurance or MOT and possessing a folding pocket knife and cannabis in Dudley on November 23. He was given eight penalty points and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £175 court costs.

Kyle David Jones, aged 20, of Summerfield Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing alcohol and two baguettes, worth £18.90, from Asda, Dudley, on January 24. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Rebecca Phipps, aged 34, of Pippin Avenue, Cradley Heath, was given a nine month community order for stealing jewellery, worth £1,500 in Cradley between August 18 and November 23 last year. She was ordered to pay compensation of £450 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Piotr Andrzej Urbanik, aged 42, of Overfield Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 18 weeks for driving while disqualified in Dudley on September 26. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance and without registration plates fixed to the front or rear of the vehicle. He was disqualified from driving for two years.

David John Edwards, aged 30, of Broadlands Drive, Brierley Hill, was fined £50 for possessing cannabis in Brierley Hill on January 16. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Jack Godfrey, aged 18, of Blagdon Road, Halesowen, was given a six month community order for stealing garden gloves and car keys in Halesowen on January 30. He was also sentenced for taking the car without the owner’s consent, which was then crashed into a wall. He was given an 85 day curfew and for the duration must stay at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60.

John William Green, aged 40, of Brooklands, Wordsley, was sent to prison for three months, suspended for 12 months, for undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods, on or about September 13 last year. He was also sentenced for stealing a Versus Touch tablet, worth £164, in Brierley Hill on December 3 and an iPad and gold chain, in Tipton, on November 30 and entering a property in Dudley as a trespasser between November 20 and 24 and stealing cash, coins and a mobile phone, worth £55. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Farooq Mohammed, aged 33, of Cromwell Drive, Dudley, was sent to prison for eight weeks for stealing nine cans of deodorant, worth £26.01, from Wilkinsons, Dudley, on February 26.

Daniel Anthony Denston, aged 27, of Fens Crescent, Brierley Hill, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing £80 from Stan Jones Betting Shop, Brierley Hill, on February 12. He was ordered to pay compensation of £80, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.
