A CHARITY concert held in Brierley Hill has raised more than £2,000 for three borough causes.
The event, at Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Saturday March 8 – presented by members of Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Group, raised £1,700 for Dudley's Action Heart charity and the borough's leukaemia appeal fund which supports the Georgina unit at Russells Hall Hospital.
It also raised an additional £478 for Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge.
Joy Brown, fundraising executive for Action Heart, thanked all those who attended the event - which featured songs from musicals such as Miss Saigon, Chicago, Mamma Mia and 42nd Street.
