The following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between March 3-7:

Martin Newlands, aged 42, of Kings Oak Gardens, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for drink driving in Dudley on January 11. When tested he had 126mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 32 months and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Darren Andrew Whitehouse, aged 25, of Valley Road, Upper Gornal, was given a 12 month community order for entering a garage in Sedgley as a trespasser and stealing copper piping, a mountain bike and various power tools. He was ordered to pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Marcus Luke New, aged 21, of Harebell Crescent, Wrens Nest, was sent to prison for 26 weeks for assaulting a woman in Dudley on January 8.

Rashminder Grewal, aged 27, of Jasmine Road, Kates Hill, was fined £70 for possessing cannabis in Dudley on February 17. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Martyn Steven Hale, aged 32, of Fullwood Crescent, Holly Hall, was discharged conditionally for seven months for stealing a Gillette razor gift set, worth £24, from Boots, Brierley Hill, on February 17. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Louise Mary Brown, aged 30, of St Annes Court, Cradley Heath, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing groceries and alcohol, worth £110.98, from Asda, Halesowen, on January 7. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

James Michael Wallace, aged 29, of Tiled House Lane, Pensnett, was given a six week community order for harassing a woman in Dudley between February 28 and March 3. He was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 6am. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Leroy Anthony Parke, aged 35, of Cole Street, Netherton, was given a 12 month community order for undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of a stolen Nintendo 3DS XL, worth £230, in Dudley between February 13 and 18. He was also sentenced for dishonestly using a quantity of electricity, without authority, in Netherton between February 19 and March 2 and contacting someone in Dudley on March 4, which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order. He was ordered to pay compensation of £212 and £85 court costs.

Neil Latham, aged 38, of Bissell Way, Amblecote, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for producing cannabis in Brierley Hill on December 19. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Aaron Guest, aged 23, of Barn Close, Stourbridge, was fined £180 for drink driving, without a licence or insurance, in Stourbridge on February 20. When tested he had 52mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Ashley Paul Johnson, aged 23, of Russells Hall Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Sedgley on December 21. He was also sentenced for attending a property in Dudley on February 22, which he was prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order. He was ordered to pay compensation of £40, a victim surcharge of £60 and £100 court costs.

Daniel Walker, aged 23, of Redhall Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for entering a building in Lower Gornal as a trespasser, between August 20 and 23 last year, with intent to steal. He was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.
