MIDLANDS Air Ambulance Charity has announced the date for its annual event to celebrate unsung heroes, sponsors and dedicated volunteers.
The charity’s Recognition Awards and Charity Ball will be held on Friday June 20 at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham.
The gala event will include a drinks reception, with live music and the arrival of the service’s three helicopters, a four course meal, a casino, auction and raffle.
Several of the charity’s celebrity and sporting ambassadors will be at the event.
Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director for the charity, comments: “Our Recognition Awards and Charity Ball has always been enjoyed by everyone who attends. Not only is it a wonderful excuse for a really great night out, but it also recognises some of the incredible people who make a difference to our service; our paramedics and doctors, our fundraisers and volunteers and of course, our courageous patients.”
