THE Odeon cinema at Merry Hill became a mecca for Muppet fans keen to catch the first showing of Kermit and Miss Piggy’s new big screen outing.
The cinema opposite the shopping centre hosted its own premiere of the Muppets Most Wanted movie on Sunday March 23.
Kelly Reed, senior marketing manager at Merry Hill, said: “It was brilliant to see such a great turnout for the centre's first showing of Muppets Most Wanted.
“With Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the gang returning to the screen in the latest hilarious and star-studded adventure, it’s the perfect family film—we hope all our customers had a great time.”
Starring Ricky Gervais and featuring a guest appearance by Lady Gaga, the latest Muppet caper sees the world’s most famous felt-skinned friends getting mixed up with a notorious criminal while touring Europe.
Following a number of advance screenings across the country last weekend, the Muppets Most Wanted opens officially at cinemas nationwide tomorrow (Friday March 28).
