AN animal rights activist will visit Stourbridge to talk about a recent visit to Japan, where he helped to save thousands of dolphins, porpoises and small whales from slaughter.
Earlier this year, Mark Muschamp, of the Worcester Vegans & Veggies group (WVV) travelled to Taiji and joined fellow members of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) to protect the marine animals that are killed for their meat.
Mark will talk about his experience and show a film highlighting the work of the SSCS next Wednesday (June 18) at Moochers, on New Road.
The talk, entitled My fight to save the dolphins, will take place from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
Admission is free.
