A BEAUTY salon in Oldswinford has raised more than £1,700 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Chantal Welvaert, owner of Scratch, on Hagley Road, held a charity event on June 12 to raise funds for the charity as her best friend Cassie Hawthorne has the genetic condition.
The red carpet was rolled out for guests, who were greeted with a champagne reception, before stepping inside the salon to purchase raffle tickets, homemade cakes and have their nails painted.
Miss Welvaert wished to thank everyone that had supported the event, which raised £1,731.40 for the cause which she said was "close to her heart".
