The new Mayor of Dudley is inviting people across the borough to attend her traditional civic Sunday service tomorrow (June 22).
Councillor Margaret Aston, Mayor of Dudley, is calling on people to attend the event taking place at St Francis C of E Church, Dudley, from 10am.
Mayors from across the Black Country will also be attending the occasion along with other civic dignitaries.
The Mayor’s chaplain, Reverend Canon Judith Oliver, will lead the service during which there will be a collection for the Mayor’s charities - Guide Dogs and Action Heart.
Cllr Aston, Mayor of Dudley, said: “I’m really looking forward to the traditional civic service. It’s one of my first civic events and a really good opportunity to meet people and share experiences in my own ward of Castle and Priory.
“I hope people can join me on the day for what promises to be a really nice event.”
