Jobs boost for Brierley Hill with arrival of new clothes store

BRIERLEY Hill is to get a jobs boost with the arrival of a new fashion store at the Merry Hill shopping centre.

Retailers Simply Be and Jacamo will be sharing a new store the centre in a move which will create 30 new jobs.

The arrival of the store is expected to take place during the summer and is part of expansion plans by multi-channel retailer N Brown Group PLC to open seven new stores around the UK.

Retail Director, Jeanette Carter, said: “Simply Be and Jacamo are fantastic brands and Intu Merry Hill is a popular shopping centre with a great retail offer, so we know we’ll fit right in. Once launched, the store will provide an easy and fun shopping experience for everyone.”

The new store will offer a range of men’s and women’s clothes in sizes from small up to 5XL.
