STARS from The Only Way is Essex added glamour to a Wordsley beauty salon's charity event.

Outspoken Gemma Collins was due to appear at Tranquillité, Sandringham Place, on Saturday (July 26) to help owners Steve Tudor and Claire Jones celebrate the salon's first anniversary.

Due to filming commitments she had to pull out of the appearance but co-stars Chloe Sims and Elliott Wright were on hand to step in.

Hundreds of fans popped by to meet the reality TV stars, sip champagne reception and buy raffle tickets and helped to raise £1,600 for Pseudomyxoma Survivor - a support network for those with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP).

The charity is close to Mr Tudor's heart as his father, Chris, died following a battle with the rare cancer last year.

He said: "It was fantastic to have so much support from our customers and Chloe and Elliott were really nice. We're over the moon with the response."

Mr Tudor wished to thank everyone who had helped make the event a success and said there are already plans for a similar event next year.
