A HORROR crash in Swindon left two people dead after a head-on collision on Saturday January 20.

The incident, involving a Fiat Punto and a Peugeot 206, took place at around 11.30pm on Black Hill close to the junction with Tom Lane.

The victims, from Stourton, suffered severe injuries and were taken to Russell's Hall Hospital where they later died.

Police have not released the names of the dead although one is described as a man in his 70s.

An 18-year-old woman also suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Wolverhampton, two other casualties suffered minor injuries.
