GENEROUS Lara Jevons from Stourbridge plans to hit the right note by organising a charity music event next month.

Lara is looking to raise funds for the Help Harry Help Others charity which was inspired by big-hearted Birmingham youngster Harry Moseley who died of a brain tumour, aged just 11, after raising more than £500,000 for charity.

Lara, aged 30, from Wollaston, said: "It was just something I wanted to do. I've been talking to Harry's mum Georgie on Twitter and decided to organise a fun music evening."

The event takes place at Stourbridge River Rooms on Sunday October 26, starting at 6pm.

Lara has persuaded Birmingham all-girl retro band the Glamaphones, fellow Brummie band Stolen Identity and singer-songwriter Guy Jones to take part.

The headline act is Black Country based R3action who are releasing a single City Lies in November to help raise funds for the charity as well.

Lara added: "I know all four of the acts really well and each one offered to appear for free."

Tickets can be obtained by contacting Lara on Twitter @mrszulferino or people can pay on the door.
