AMBLECOTE'S Glasshouse Arts Centre played host to the "biggest ever" West Midlands Network Flower Festival today (Thursday).
The event, now in its 13th year, showcases the work of creative people with learning and physical disabilities from across the region.
Held for the first time at the Wollaston Road arts venue, the festival featured more than 300 exhibits ranging from flowers to vegetables to home-made jams, cakes and art and craft pieces including photographs, metal-work and ceramics.
A group from Oak Farm organic smallholding in Ditton Prior, Shropshire, walked away with the best in show award for their extra large pumpkin.
The 23-strong group, comprising adults aged between 18 and 70, also won first prize for their blackcurrant jam.
Jenny Yates, support worker at Oak Farm, said: "We've never won best in show before so that was extra exciting."
Flower festival chairman Steve Sharples said: "It's the biggest show we've ever had. Everybody went away really happy - even if they didn't win anything and that's what matters."
Stourbridge MP Margot James presented the prizes.
