DUDLEY Council and the Campaign for Real Ale have teamed up to launch a guide to some of the borough's finest pubs.

The new Dudley borough Real Ale Trail highlights 33 favourite real ale pubs across the borough and includes some of the area's best loved breweries such as Bathams, Holden’s, Enville, Sadler’s, Olde Swan, Craddock’s, Black Country Ales, Kinver and Sarah Hughes breweries.

Councillor Hilary Bills, Dudley's cabinet member for environment and culture, said: "Real ale is part of our Black Country culture and it is important we celebrate it and share the success of so many local businesses.

"There are more than 30 pubs listed in the new guide and I’m sure it will be a popular leaflet for locals and for visitors to the borough.”

Steve Thompson, Dudley CAMRA, chairman said: “The Dudley Real Ale Trail shows off some of the finest drinking pubs in the Dudley borough."

The guide includes a map and details on all the pubs including whether establishments are family friendly, suitable for ramblers, offer over-night accommodation, serve food and more.
