A BRIERLEY Hill man has been jailed for 16 weeks after his seventh conviction of driving while disqualified.
On Tuesday January 23, Halesowen Magistrates told Chad Jason Harrison, aged 20, of Gayfield Avenue, his blatant disregard for court orders justified a prison term.
The court also banned Harrison, who denied the charge, from driving for 12 months and revoked a community order imposed in April 2006.
Also before Halesowen Magistrates on Tuesday January 23.
Matthew Westwood, aged 27, of School Road, Quarry Bank, was jailed for six weeks after he admitted criminal damage while on a community order.
He was told a custodial sentence was justified due to his previous record, despite magistrates giving him credit for his guilty plea.
The court heard Westwood had caused £280 in damage to a wardrobe, a door, a telephone and window blinds.
Christian Mark Jones, aged 28, of Nuthouse Drive, Stourbridge, was fined £100 plus £70 costs after he admitted possession of amphetamine sulphate.
Before Halesowen Magistrates on Friday January 19.
o Nathan Aaron Edwards, aged 18, of Stepping Stones, Lye, agreed to be bound over to keep the peace for six months in the sum of £100.

Tom Joel Hanson, aged 23, of Barsham Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £200 plus £70 costs and banned from driving for one year for driving with excess alcohol.
Jamie Edward Page, aged 22, of Brettell Lane, Brierley Hill, was given a 12-week prison term suspended for 12 months.
Page was also given a six-month curfew from 9pm to 5am after he admitted causing actual bodily harm during an assault in Stourbridge last September.
He was also instructed to pay £300 in compensation plus £200 costs, magistrates told him a prison sentence was justified due to his previous record and failure to respond to non-custodial sentences.

Richard Michael Di-franco, aged 19, of Ashley Close, Kingswinford, was fined £250 plus £70 costs and given five penalty points for driving without due care and attention.
Sean Michael Fitzgerald, aged 31, of Mount Road, Wordsley, was given a two-year community order including a condition to attend a drug rehabilitation course.
Fitzgerald had previously admitted possession of a class A' drug.
He was given a concurrent two year order and instructed to pay £175 costs after pleading guilty to a charge of actual bodily harm.

Jake Simon Harbourne, aged 23, of Warwick Road, Wordsley, was fined £150 plus £35 costs after he admitted entering Corbett Hospital, Vicarage Road and stealing tools.
Harbourne was fined a further £100 for possession of cannabis.
Nick Thatcher, aged 25, of Rokewood Close, Kingswinford, was fined £150 plus £35 costs for theft, magistrates gave him credit for his guilty plea.
Robert John Bagley, aged 21, of Lawn Avenue, Stourbridge, was fined £200 for possession of an offensive weapon, magistrates also ordered a knuckle duster to be destroyed.
Bagley was fined a further £150 plus £70 costs and banned from driving for 16 months for driving with excess alcohol.
Sheila Dorothy Davidson, aged 54, of Church Street, Stourbridge, was fined a total of £100 plus £40 costs.
Davidson admitted being drunk and disorderly in Lower High Street, Stourbridge and being in breach of a conditional discharge for a similar previous offence.
