‘More help’ plea for fair

MARY Stevens Hospice are appealing for volunteers and entertainers to help out with their summer fair.

Helpers are needed to help carry and construct the stalls for the bottle tombola and plant stalland entertainers in particular musical steel bands are required.

Events on the day will include a dog show and a pirates of a caribbean fancy dress theme for which children can dress up like their favourite characters.

This event is extremely popular and last year a remarkable five thousand pounds was raised with the bottle tombola raising £1,064.99 alone.

All sorts of donations are welcome including bottles for the tombola.
