OLDSWINFORD Primary School has come out tops in a recent church inspection due its close relationship with St Mary's Church.
The school underwent an inspection in December and many strengths were reported in the report.
Strengths that were noted in the report included the leadership style being described as enthusiastic, fully of energy and that it had strong educational views of what a school should offer.
Enthusiastic' The report also commented: "The pupils themselves are enthusiastic about the school, they like the friendly atmosphere and the way in which it is easy to make and retain friendships.
Oldswinford Primary School maintains a close relationship with the Rector and Curate at St.Mary's Church who comes into the school to organise worship and gives talks to classes.
Canon Greville Cross, Rector, said; " This report is a worthy and well desrved endorsement of the leadership of the school.
"The clergy of St Mary's value and enjoy their involvement with staff and pupils and are grateful for theri unfailing welcome, co-operation and support."
