DUDLEY cable manufacturers Armorduct Systems Ltd is set to combine its four existing units when the firm transfers to the Pensnett Estate in Kingswinford this year.

The company, which designs and manufactures cable management systems for the construction industry, currently employs around 60 people but will be looking to increase its workforce in the coming months.

They have agreed a ten-year lease with London and Cambridge Properties, which owns and manages the Kingswinford site.

Managing director and part owner Marc Swaffer confirmed the company had spent the past 12 months looking for the right premises and said: "It was no longer practical to have us operating out of four different units.

"We wanted to expand and to do that, realistically we needed to be in a single unit."

The single site will add a further 8,000 square feet of space to the manufacturing side of the business, which Armorduct is planning to expand during the year.
