A STOURBRIDGE school is teaming up with a Dudley sixth form to offer a wider choice of subjects for study.
From September 2007, students from Ellowes Hall school, Stickley Lane, Lower Gornal will have the opportunity to take selected A level subjects at Old Swinford Hospital School, Stourbridge.
The partnership between the schools will give Ellowes Hall students a chance to attend one of the leading sixth forms in the borough where, last year, 60 per cent of A level grades were A or B.
Headmaster of Old Swinford Hospital, Melvyn Roffe, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer facilities for some students from Ellowes Hall School to learn alongside our students, giving them more choice of subjects and options than they would otherwise have."
Ellowes Hall Headteacher, Andy Griffiths said "This is an excellent example of how schools can cooperate in order to improve the choice for students.
"I am sure that our students will value the opportunity to work at Old Swinford Hospital and will gain a great deal of benefit from the experience.
"We are very proud of our Sixth Form at Ellowes Hall and this is an exciting new way of strengthening what we can offer to students in this area."
