Schools to choose on opening

INDIVIDUAL Dudley schools will decide for themselves whether to open tomorrow (Friday) after snow forced closure today.

Dudley Council is urging parents to call their child's school or listen to radio stations in the morning.

Borough leisure centres will be closed from 3pm today and youth centres will stay shut this evening.

Tomorrow bin and recycling collections will still go-ahead and leisure centres will re-open as normal.

A decision on whether transport will be provided for day centre users will be made in the morning.

Hagley RC School will remain closed on Friday with their planned Big Sing event cancelled.
