THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between February 23 and 27:

Ian Cookson, aged 27, of Wrens Hill Road, Wrens Nest, was fined £280 for drink driving in Dudley on January 31. When tested he had 138mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mlgs. He was disqualified from driving for 17months and must pay a victim surcharge of £28 and £85 court costs.

Carl Bates, aged 28, of The Quadrant, Sedgley, was given a six month community order for stealing coal, worth £77, from Wall Heath Service Station on November 18, 2014. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Julie Elizabeth Hall, aged 42, of Stour Hill, Quarry Bank, was fined £380 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on January 10. When tested she had 93mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for two years and must pay a victim surcharge of £38 and £85 court costs.

Shane William Patrick O'Rourke, aged 26, of Black Acre Road, Buffrey, was given a 12 month community order for stealing meat, worth £33.58, from M&S, Brierley Hill, on January 25. He must carry out 80hours of unpaid work, pay compensation of £33.58, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Scott Eric Richard Hill, aged 18, of Mill Road, Cradley Heath, was fined £260 for driving without due care and attention in Brierley Hill on January 30. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence or insurance and failing to stop when requested to do so by a police officer. He was disqualified from driving for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £26 and £85 court costs.

Mufeed Nahad Yafai, aged 31, of Two Gates Lane, Halesowen, was fined £110 for drink driving in Halesowen on February 13. When tested he had 66mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 18months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Nathan John Lavender, aged 22, of Brooklands, Wordsley, was given a six month community order for stealing a pedal cycle, worth £600, in Pensnett on January 7. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Teresa Charlene Andrews, aged 31, of Milton Close, Amblecote, was given a 12 month community order for stealing make up, worth £100, from Boots, Kingswinford, on January 6 and shoes, worth £120, from Sports Direct, Brierley Hill, on February 2. She must pay compensation of £136.35, a victim surcharge of £60 and £170 court costs.

Stephen Frederick Colledge, aged 49, of Foxlea Road, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Halesowen on October 7, 2014. He must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work, pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £60 and £100 court costs.

Mark Ian Daniel Wilson, aged 29, of Cranbourne Road, Stourbridge, was fined £60 for speeding in Halesowen on April 23, 2014. He was given three penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Jonathan David Cartwright, aged 20, of Park Street, Lye, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months, for stealing DVDs, worth £27, from Tesco, Stourbridge, on February 6 and stealing DVDs, worth £93, from Matalan, Merry Hill, on February 13, while subject to a community order. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £27, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Issac William Gibbs, aged 25, of Queen Street, Pensnett, was sent to prison for 14 weeks for making a threat to kill, in Dudley on December 21, 2014, causing the person to believe said threat would be carried out. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Janet Patricia North, aged 57, of Stickley Lane, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for 16 weeks for assaulting a woman and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, in Dudley on October 10, 2014. She was also sentenced for persistently making use of a public electronic communications network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another between September 29 and October 2, 2014. She must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Peter Clewes, aged 46, of Crabbe Street, Lye, was sent to prison for eight months for entering Merchants chip shop, Stourbridge, on January 24, as a trespasser with intent to steal, while subject to a conditional discharge. He was also sentenced for stealing detergent from One Stop, Stourbridge, and entering the Old White Horse public house, Stourbridge, as a trespasser and stealing a purse, debit card, iPod and money, on February 17.

Natalie Tracey Billingham, aged 22, of Belmont Road, Lye, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a man in Stourbridge on November 27, 2014. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.
