A BIG-HEARTED Belbroughton couple are once again set to open their farm doors to host another musical extravaganza to pull in cash for good causes.

Gaye and Roger Hadley will be hosting Musica 15 in the grounds of Church Farm, off Bradford Lane, on Friday July 10 and Saturday July 11.

This year's event, the fifth organised by the popular village couple, will include the Northfield Caledonia Pipe and Drum Band, Elliot Hinton, Hannah and Ban, a Rod Stewart tribute act on the bill on Friday July 10 and will raise cash for Sunfield Children’s Home in Clent, Midlands Air Ambulance, the Royal British Legion and the Animal Sanctuary and Protection in Belbroughton.

Acts performing on July 11 include: Got 2 Sing, Hagley RC School Rock Band and Blues Brothers tribute band Blind Lemon.

Event organiser Gaye Hadley said: "The event is to say a thank you to the work of the British Legion and all the other charities that we are working for. We would really appreciate people passing the message on and bringing friends and relations to the event. We all need a little help sometime and this is our way of doing things.”

Nick Martin, Royal British Legion community fundraiser, said: "It is fantastic to be part of Musica 15 this year. The event will give us the chance to tell people we are around, delivering our welfare to the Armed Forces family, not just at Remembrance time in November but all year."

Funds raised will go to Worcestershire RBL's Poppy Appeal.

Georgina Forrest, Sunfield’s partnership development manager, said: "It’s truly wonderful for Sunfield to be chosen as one of the local charities supported by Musica 2015. It really is music to our ears.”

Funds from the concert will go towards the refurbishment project on Elm House, one of Sunfield’s residential homes for students with complex care needs.

Adam Williams, Midlands Air Ambulance fundraising manager, “We’re ever so grateful for the support we’re receiving from Musica 15 thanks to this really special event. We really can’t thank them enough for raising money to help Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.”

Gates open at 5.30pm on Friday, and the bands start at 7pm.

Tickets cost £15 per night, or £25 for both nights. Entry is free for children under 12.
