THIS is the face behind the lens of a former Black Country photographer jailed for four years for engaging in sexual activity with a schoolgirl.
Craig Styles, a former wedding and motor sport photographer was found guilty of the offence after a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
David Jackson, prosecuting, said there had been an “element of grooming” towards the 15-year-old schoolgirl and Judge John Wait said the actions of Styles, aged 36, had clearly had a damaging effect on the life of his young victim and he ordered him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Styles, a man of previous good character, had denied the offence and Jonathan Baker, defending, said the offences had been committed at a time when his client’s life was “spiralling out of control”.
