A GROUP of teenage charity fundraisers have enlisted folk favourites Clutching at Straws to raise the roof in Cookley for a good cause.

Music for Macmillan will take place at Cookley Village Hall, Lea Lane, featuring a host of live gigs from musicians including members of bands Clutching at Straws and Housewives Choice.

The show is being organised by young people from Worcestershire’s National Citizen’s Service (NCS) and members of NCS will also be performing at the show.

The event will take place from 6pm to 10pm on Friday September 4, tickets cost £5 and all proceeds will be donated to the charity which supports cancer victims and their families.
