WEST Mercia Constabulary is urging residents in Clent, Belbroughton and Hagley to nominate young people who have made an outstanding contribution to their local community.
The Good Citizen Award is presented to under 18s who have carried out acts of outstanding courage and generosity or who have displayed immense community spirit in the past year.
Pc Taryn Green, who is running the award scheme this year, said: "West Mercia is keen to ensure that every young person who deserves recognition for their actions is nominated.
"We are always enormously impressed by the outstanding contribution that the young people nominated are making to their communities and their achievements are an inspiration to us all".
Nomination forms can be downloaded from the force website www.westmercia.police.uk or from Pc Green on 01905 331804.
The closing date for nominations is Friday May 25.
